Comrade Orca (beta v.02)

In the cooperative board game COMRADE ORCA 3-5 players become a pod of killer whales who have assembled from all seven seas to take revenge against humanity and sink billionaire's yachts in an ocean full of dangers.

Using the power of collective sonar and whale language, they search the ocean for their quarry, led by the fearless and wise Matriarch. Under her leadership the Scout cuts through the ocean and the Hunter feeds the pod. They are accompanied by a Caregiver who is adept at helping the pod avoid the hazards and traps... and who is the best at keeping the pod's precious Baby safe.

When they find the Yacht they must work together to trap it so the Hunter can Ram and sink it... but it's not as easy as it looks, especially because players must only use orca sounds to communicate (whines, puffs, moans and clicks)!

Comrade Orca takes about 40 minutes to learn and then can be played in as little as 15 minutes.

The game is designed by Max Haiven and is currently in development for Pluto Press. It is slated to head into a crowdfunding in early 2027.
